Mac versus PC

I am more than four months away from realization, but I would like to buy a laptop for producing digital media. Ie., film, music. I don't know if I should go for Mac or PC. If I buy a Mac it comes everything I need for basic production. But I have more bang for the buck generally with a PC. I feel that the choice of PC is less fascist--but like all choices, perhaps it is illusory. A Mac comes with iMovie and I could upgrade to Final Cut when I get a feel for editing. Plus it would be compatible with my brother's system. But I've never owned a Mac before...the prospect feels a bit creepy, fascism withstanding.

Any thoughts?

He has a thing about demons and a circular room.

Remember the Bar in Hell is a Circular room?

I need to write me a book one of these days.

Or, at least, it is used for evil.

Nah, it's pretty much evil.

But Billmon has become indispensible with regards to the whole Middle East WWIII thing.

Here are some other chilling links.

Bloodtypes

As an exercise I had a class of mine explain to me in English the different bloodtype-personalities--something a lot of Koreans believe in:

A -- small mind, patient, good with animals
B -- Original, moody, selfish, proud, bossy
AB -- Crazy/genius--own world in head. Very stupid, very simple, don't care about other people
O -- Generous, gregarious, very normal

We're all gonna die because pigs aren't Kosher

Why oh why oh why?

Read the lastest on cursor. Things are looking grim. Bush is letting Israel go wild because the neo-cons are desperate--if a regional war develops we can bomb Iran with no questions asked.

Fuck.

Some Pictures from Korea

Soju just flies from down the sky down into your mouth, here. They do a lot of drinking here.

Here was my first day in my love hotel; or in my case, self-love:

In this part of the world the Secret Masters don't hide their activity; ie., here's one of their trucks:

Here I am in my new apartment, eating ramyon. When I don't teach I eat ramyon. Also reading and listening to the rain. (I don't read the rain or teach the ramyon. The ramyon teaches and the rain reads me, yes?) Also, fighting mosquitos. I like to smack them after they are filled with my blood and I say to them "Ha! You've got my blood but I got yours! Rahhh!"

There's nothing more vulgar or filthy in this world than money.

my problem

Unfocussed. I spread myself too thin, maybe. How can I make my life, write a novel, make movies, and music and all of this?

Very frustrating.

You and me kid are gonna go far

Lurking

Here's a re-mixed immigration speech. Now that I don't live there I actually go to rightwing sites and read what they say. I love their comments. My favorite part about the speech is that even their "ideal" world is not coherent. They want illegal immigrants to do all the menial tasks in our country; and they also want every last illegal immigrant deported. That's there ideal world: They want to have their hate cake and eat it too.

Also, I have a question for self-styled conservatives, what's a more burning issue? Flag burning or equal access to fireworks?

Go Korea Excitement Now!

Oh wait, that's Japan. And that's not me, that's Kraig.

Still.

Lucky bastards

For you, it's probably still Sunday.

Also, now I'm asleep while all the news and blogging goes on. So I just wake up and find out what happened yesterday.

Male? Single? 40-ish? Maybe you can get married.

3500 won

3500 won can get you a starbucks coffee in Seoul; it can also get you a huge bowl of buckwheat noodles in crushed ice plus lots of cold pickled items, presumably, kimchi.
