Milano

Okay, so I'm in Korea now. I'm staying at a hotel called the "Milano." I think it's akin to one of those "Love" motels I've heard about in Japan. Except it's just me and the gigantic LCD screen. Today in training my boss said off handedly hey I bet you've never stayed in a hotel like that before, and I said, "no--I've been to Italy." He didn't get it. Maybe there's nothing to get. Anyhow, I sat through a lot of powerpoint presentations today.

On TV there is porn, video game playing, go-playing.

It's gonna take awhile to get used to this.

Last Day in the US

My last official blog from the US. So long, amigos. It's the Far East for me. Wendi told me to stop posting pictures of her wedding and start doing real blog entries. I'll try. I also want to get my real world writing done too, so we'll see how that goes. If I die, bury me face down so the whole world can kiss my ass. Even if they have to kiss it through six feet of topsoil.

Hey, look at that

Is that the Soviet Army? Oh wait, that's us? Good news is, whoever is supplying the Taleban with weapons is going to get bit in the ass in ten years whenever we cut and run.

Lord have moicy: Apocalypse!

At least we Jews get a temple out of the whole thing.

"I truly believe John Hagee is at once a daring, beautiful person — and quite dangerous," said Orthodox Rabbi Brad Hirschfield, vice president of the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership in New York.

"I sincerely recognize him as a hero for bringing planeloads of people to Israel at a time when people there were getting blown up by the busloads," Hirschfield said. "But he also believes that the only path to the father is through Jesus. That leaves me out."

Korea

It looks I'm leaving the 26th. I'll spend one or two nights in San Francisco getting my working visa situation figured out, and then off to the Far East!

Local Marching Band News

I caught the last half of a bulletin on local cable access; it said that the Gateway Marching Band might have to cancel its 2006-2007 season because lack of funding. I had a lot of fun in marching band. I hope they don't have to do that. What's left for these poor souls? Theater? Dungeons and Dragons.

I just read The ACME Novelty Library via my brother's copy. It was really good.

Two fun maps

Air torture.

Mind torture.

Where'd all the white women go?

Instead of worry about a "demographic crisis", why don't we just put all our precious white genes in deep freeze.

More Jason and Wendi Wedding Pics

Frankly, I don't remember a lot of this. And I didn't have that much to drink. All this must've happened on the other side of the room.

Bach Cantatas

He wrote a lot of them. I checked out a box set from the library--Bach Cantatas Volume 4. There are 6 CDs in Volume 4. I haven't listened to hardly any of it; maybe they're all the same Cantata.

Yum!

Dedicated to killing us. Yum!

Wedding Pictures

I've been getting lots of emails from people about pictures from Jason's wedding. Well, I didn't take very many because I was emceeing; but Jason just sent me a bunch. A feast for the eyes:
